I love balsamic vinegar and all vegetables in sweet and sour sauce , onions and carrots that I cooked today are so easy to do ….. practically a saves dinner dish!
Ingredients: 300 grams of spring onions, 200 grams of carrots, 3 bay leaves cloves, 30 grams of extra virgin olive oil, 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, 30 grams of apple cider vinegar , 30 grams of brown sugar , salt
Clean the spring onions, clean and cut the carrots into large pieces (about 2 cm thick). In a pan, over low heat, melt the sugar with the oil, then add the apple cider vinegar, balsamic vinegar and a little salt (the amount of salt will then be adjusted tasting the sauce that forms halfway through cooking). Then add onions and carrots and simmer
Continue cooking for about 30 minutes or until the sauce does not shrink and onion does not look like caramelized.
