Who is Mariuccia? The mother of Francis (Roc), the mother-in-law of Daniela, the grandmother and aunt of many nieces ….. and makes some very good cakes. Francis always talk about, especially this chocolate and fruit cake that always he eats for breakfast. You will find it then among the recipes of friends, to tell the truth the idea of making this new section of the blog just came for the lady Mariuccia cake. I’ve heard of with such carriage that I could not help but ask for the recipe and try it. I have only made a few (small) change, however the cake was quite cuddly and chocolaty to please even the most discerning palates in the family
Ingredients: a jar of strawberry yogurt (125 gr), a jar (the empty jar of yogurt) of oil, 2 yars of sugar, 3 yars of flour, half a jar of milk, 2 eggs, a teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon baking powder, 50 grams of dark chocolate, 5 or 6 medium sized strawberries.
Cut the chocolate into small flakes (must be small to be read and not sink too much dough), and likewise cut strawberries into small pieces and set aside.
In a bowl, mix the yogurt with the eggs, add the sugar and continue to mix until you obtain a smooth cream. Then add the oil and then the flour , the baking powder and the vanilla. Put the dough (about 3/4) in a pan greased with oil and put on a layer of the chocolate and strawberries into small pieces
Continue the composition of the cake by pouring the remaining batter into the pan and, above that, the rest of the chocolate and strawberries
Bake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes (I did cook for 25 minutes and then 10 minutes with the oven off, and partially open)
